Temple Programs at Three Boynton Beach Synagogues

Temple Programs in Boynton Beach

Temple programs at Shaarei Shalom, Torat Emet and Beth Tikvah in Boynton Beach, Florida kick of their Fall-Winter Adult Education Temple Program in November.

A small “miracle” for three local congregations to join together and collaborate for their members by sponsoring Temple programs. The courses are as varied as Tallis Making to Seniors Getting Their Groove Back with Online Dating.

Paradise Home Health Care is very honored to present two programs: “Location, Location, Location – Choosing Where You Want to Live” and a “Wellness Forum”.

Local places of worship tend to have a large group of seniors in their congregations. Research shows that learning new things and socializing are key ways to keep cognitively sharp and decrease cognitive impairment. Adult educations classes and presentations at Temples is a very good way to accomplish both of those things while bringing congregants to the building beyond prayer times. Traditionally they have sponsored education for children and now serve both ends of the knowledge specturm.

Many Synagogues in south Florida have Adult Education classes and programs. In addition to the Temples in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, we will be doing programming this year in two Boca Raton synagogues: Bnai Torah on S.W. 18th street and Beth Shalom in Century Village.

Please contact Sherry Picker, MSW for topics of interest to you or should your Temple or Church be interested in programming for Boomers and Older Adults. We know professionals across a wide spectrum who are happy to share their knowledge and speak in the community.
